The kitchen work that has to land on day one

How a bid gets built
Send the job. Get a number that matches it.
Restaurant owners, GCs, franchise teams, and facility managers get the same path: drawings in, scope out, proposal back. Call (913) 515-6855 if the package is already sitting on your desk.
Request a Bid- 01
Send the package
Name, company, city, facility type, equipment list, schedule, plans, and existing-condition photos.
- 02
Scope the install
Equipment placement, hood work, walk-ins, stainless, and remodel support — written as included or by others.
- 03
Price the work
A bid proposal, not a vague quote. Free quotes are part of the public offer; the form exists to make them accurate.
- 04
Set the line
Uncrate, set, level, fabricate, and finish so the kitchen can open on the date you actually named.
Project types
Hoods, walk-ins, and the line
Typical GCKI work: commercial hoods, walk-in coolers and freezers, and kitchen equipment with finish carpentry. Send a similar package and we’ll bid it.

Hoods
Commercial hood installation
GCKI performs commercial hood installation on canopy and line work. Bid similar jobs with drawings and site photos attached.

Walk-ins
Walk-in cooler & freezer
Walk-in cooler and freezer installs follow the enclosure from box-up through the finished unit. The bid package GCKI wants is the same: room photos first, finished enclosure last.

Kitchen install
Commercial kitchen equipment & finish
Kitchen work covers stainless equipment, serving line, sinks, and finish consistent with millwork and counter capability. Send equipment lists and existing-condition photos to bid the next one.

About GCKI
A family business built around the install.
GCKI LLC is a family business led by Ahmad Gedi. Based in Kansas since 2016, we install commercial kitchen equipment for restaurants, schools, healthcare, and hospitality projects — including hoods, walk-ins, stainless work, and remodel support.
Send a floor plan, equipment list, or photos of the space and we’ll put together a bid you can actually use. Call or email when you’re ready to get a kitchen in the ground.
Bid desk
Questions before you send files
What should I send with a bid request?+
A floor plan or equipment list, the project city, target opening or remodel date, and photos of existing conditions if this is a renovation. If drawings are not ready, send what you have — GCKI will tell you what else is needed to price the work.
How do estimates work?+
Bids are built from the scope you send: equipment to set, hood and walk-in work, fabrication, and any remodel support. Clear drawings and a complete equipment list produce a tighter number. Incomplete packages get a follow-up, not a guess.
Where does GCKI work?+
GCKI-LLC is Kansas-based. Service radius is confirmed per project. Include the job city and facility type when you request a bid and we will tell you whether we can staff the install.
Does a bid include every trade?+
The public scope covers commercial kitchen equipment installation, hood work, walk-in coolers and freezers, stainless and metal fabrication, restaurant remodel support, tile, millwork, concrete repair, and minor electrical and plumbing. Exact in-house versus coordinated work is confirmed on each proposal.
How fast will I hear back?+
Call (913) 515-6855 for the fastest path. Bid requests submitted through the site are reviewed with the project notes, plans, and photos you attach. Response timing depends on how complete the package is.
