Hoods & Ventilation
Hood work and installation for commercial cooking lines — scoped job by job, without padding the proposal with trades we have not confirmed.
GCKI publicly lists hood work and installation as part of the commercial kitchen offer. Hoods are not decorative. They have to sit on the right equipment, at the right height, with a path for duct and makeup air that the rest of the job can live with.
Every hood bid starts with the cooking battery and the drawings. Send the manufacturer, canopy size, and any existing photos. The proposal will state the hood-related work GCKI will perform on that job. Fire-suppression systems, AHJ sign-off, and code-compliance certifications are not assumed and are not advertised here.
If your project is a hood replacement over an existing line, existing-condition photos matter as much as the cut sheet. Attach both when you request a bid.
Fire-suppression, listed system certification, and authority-having-jurisdiction approvals are confirmed per project — they are not claimed as a blanket capability on this site.
